Issues: Intergovernmental Cooperation

Senator Dick Elliott gets things done through cultivated lifelong contacts at every governmental level-from municipalities to the U.S. Congress. "We must study each issue and look for better ways we've never used before as we prepare for the future," he says. His experience on city and county councils and in the State House of Representatives prepared Dick for service in the State Senate, where he represents the Northeastern Strategic Alliance (NESA) on its I-73 Committee, and meets regularly with other officials to discuss better ways to improve state government.

Dick has fought hard to maintain a AAA credit rating in our state government. He has well used his business background to make government more open, more efficient and accountable.
